Chronological Time Frame of HBMG Inc. 2000---Manuel Zarate develops the MyWebFile and Simon application as a means to handle and exchange electronic documents on the web. 2001---HB Media Group (HBMG) is formed. 2002---HBMG, as part of the HDR team, implements MyWebFile as the user interface for FileNet system on the SH130 project. HBMG tests, defines and designs many of the EDMS processes that are now used on TxDOT projects. 2002---MyWebFile is renamed eManagers 2003---HBMG is the technology sub consultant for HNTB on the Trans Texas Corridor Project (TTC-35). eManagers is used as the user interface for the FileNet EDMS system. HBMG leads the IT and Document Control aspects of the project. 2004---HB Media Group is officially renamed HBMG, Inc. 2004---Mel Mireles hired as CEO of HBMG Inc. 2004---Pete Musitano, now VP of Professional Services is hired. 2004---HBMG develops a new version of eManagers (Version 2) that is independent of the FileNet EDMS. 2004---HBMG is part of a team led by Fluor for the OTIA III project. HBMG is charged with designing and implementing the first ECM on an Oregon Department of Transportation project as a precursor to statewide ODOT deployment. HBMG deploys the eManagers standalone application for interim use by the project. During the course of the next year, HBMG hosts the eManagers system in it's data center in Austin and designs and establishes the guidelines for the first installation of FileNet's new software P8. After a one year period, HBMG migrates the project's documents from eManagers into the enterprise P8 system. 2005---HBMG is asked by ODOT to help them establish a statewide ECM system. 2005---The HBMG Foundation holds the first annual ArtSpark festival. ArtSpark begins as an eight week new play competition. 2006---HBMG as part of the Carter Burgess (Jacobs) is asked to establish an eManagers system for the LBJ freeway project in Dallas. 2006---HBMG as part of the SPMG team led by Parsons Brinkerhoff, designs the first EDMS enterprise system for the Washington Dept. of Transportation. HBMG, working closely with WsDOT, installs the application, trains the districts statewide, and oversees the operations of the software. 2007---HBMG as part of the Carter Burgess (Jacobs) team is asked to establish an eManagers system for the TxDOT procurement project. HBMG installs a multi library version of eManagers. 2007---TxDOT gathers the various engineering companies managing TTA procurement projects and informs them that they will use eManagers on their projects. 2007---HBMG is asked by Cintra Zachary to establish an eManagers system for its internal use on TxDOT projects. 2007---HBMG as part of the Carter Burgess (Jacobs) team is asked to establish an eManagers system for the I-69 TTC project. 2007---Texas Division of Information Resources awards HBMG, as a sub consultant to AT&T, the Network Security Operations Center for the state of Texas. It is the first center of its kind in the country. HBMG staff man the center and insure the cyber security of all network traffic for all state agencies. HBMG used eManagers to handle the documents. 2008---HBMG begins development of an extended and enhanced eManagers suite (eManagers Version 3 - eMan3) 2008---David Smith Hired as new CEO of HBMG Inc. 2008---Sloan Foster hired as VP of Marketing and Business Development. 2008---HBMG as part of the Carter Burgess (Jacobs) team is awarded the Dallas Fort Worth Connector Project. HBMG is asked to establish an eManagers system and provide documents control staff. HBMG is also asked to establish the I2MS software it developed for TxDOT. 2008---HBMG as part of the PBSJ team is awarded the CSC Statewide Toll Project. HBMG is asked to provide the eManagers system and EDMS staff. 2008---HBMG is asked by Ferrovial Zachary to establish an eManagers system for its use on the SH 130, segments 5 and 6 project. 2008---HBMG joins a team composed of General Dynamics, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton and seven other partners to establish a new headquarters for a U. S. government defense intelligence agency. eManagers is the EDMS of choice. 2008---HBMG is asked by the Navy to create a joint services roadmap on electrical optical technology. A customized version eMangers is used as the collaborative EDMS tool for the project. 2008---HBMG as part of the PBSJ team is awarded the El Paso Spur 601 project. eManagers is established as the EDMS for the project. HBMG is asked to also setup I2MS. 2009--- HBMG Inc., the HBMG Foundation, and the Ausitn Museum of Art collaborate to create the 1st annual Art of Business, an art exhibit and fundraiser, showcasing the art of Senior and C-level executives. The City of Austin proclaims Art of Business Day. 2009---HBMG, as part of the PBSJ team, is asked to establish an eManagers system for the I-69 Environmental GEC. 2009---HBMG, as part of the PBSJ team, is asked by TxDOT to establish its multi-library version of eManagers for use on its statewide ROW project. 2009---HBMG is named as one of twenty protégés companies for Department of Defense under the mentorship of Raytheon. 2009---The Trans Texas Corridor Project (TTC-35) elects to move from a Filenet based system with an eManagers user front end to the standalone version of eManagers. 2009---HBMG launches the extended and enhanced eManagers suite Version 3 (eMan3). |
