| Manuel Zarate to speak at upcoming Rise '10 event |

Manuel Zarate, president of HBMG Inc. will be speaking at a Rise '10 event on Friday, March 5th, 2010. The session will start at 10:00am and last about an hour and a half. The talk is entitled Act Short, Think Long and will include lessons gleaned from Manuel's experience growing a company in tough economic times. As the Founder and President of HBMG Inc., Manuel has more than 20 years experience in the field of integration systems, workflow analysis, and communications. Manuel has negotiated contracts, managed projects, and worked in direct support of notable clients Accenture, HDR, Fluor, PBS&J, AT&T, Sprint, Northrop Grumman, American Airlines, and others. He has also served as a Senior IT project manager and advisor for numerous projects. Since founding HBMG, Manuel has led the development of project control systems used on some of the largest highway projects in the country. Manuel holds a Bachelor of Art from Pan American University and a Masters in Fine Arts from Texas Tech University. Manuel also serves as Founder and Board Chairman of the HBMG Foundation and brings leadership, vision and a wealth of experience in Theater, Technology and Business to the organization. Mr. Zarate has over 20 years of professional experience in Theater and has received numerous awards for artistic excellence. He has served as Artist-in-Education for the State of Oregon and served as the Director of Arts for the Washington Institute for Leadership. He is a nationally recognized Playwright and Director and is a member of Actors Equity. He has served as a National Juror for the American Multicultural Festival and has served as Artistic Director for several professional theaters. Founded in Austin in 2004 the HBMG Foundation has partnered with business, educational, and arts organizations to build relationships and encourage imaginative thinking. In recognition of the Foundation's vision and work, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce presented the HBMG Foundation with their Arts Leadership Award. |
