Right Of Way (ROW) The Right of Way (ROW) application records and tracks the status of right-of-way acquisitions. For each parcel, it maintains detailed information and provides reports on various tasks, milestones, and related Right of Way activities such as acquisition, easements, condemnation, demolition, environmental testing, and relocation. The ROW module incorporates an image map that allows placement of links to parcel information in a point-and-click manner. This pushpin-like system makes it easy to add or change parcel icons on a digital map as a visual index to parcels. Its database query system can perform complex searches based on exact values, ranges of values, or values that are similar depending on the degree of precision required. Since the path for securing the Right of Way for parcels within a project is largely determined by external factors, it is not amenable to conventional CPM-based project planning. The ROW module is an "Expert Assistant" that provides a customizable checklist for the essential steps required to address the myriad of conditions for acquiring a parcel.
